Oh Bella, Oh Bella . . . you have truly accomplished the essence of Renee in Heaven!!! Long, full silvery hair, complete serenity on her face...butterflies instead of bats. Even the background colors are heavenly. Beautiful perfection. Oh happy happy. Thank you, Bella.
Sending you all my love, Deb

Axolotl. Seven letters. Perfect. Another beautiful illustration, my dearest sisterfriend. I can imagine how Renee would be so beside herself if she saw this. She will go on and on about being number one. Heheheh! I miss her. May God bless you and your family today and always. Tsup!

Oh my! Cute overload – axolotl
I wasn’t familiar with axolotl so I had to look them up, and it made your drawing even cuter. Wonderful work on both images Bella.

oh my without a doubt the cutest Axolotl there ever was.
I want to swim with them too I could sqeeeeeze in on the left maybe!

I like the axolotl but they always remind me of a Julio Cortázar story I find a bit disturbing. It's nice to see them in a different way here, yours are definitely happier creatures and the girl swimming with them is lovely.

Wow. Only you could make prehistoric Tetrapods huggable. I'm off to the pet store to see if they have any, I'd like to throw a few around the place to make it more warm and inviting for guests.

I like those tadpoles. Did I ever tell you about the 5 legged frog I found in a lake as a kid? I didn't?? It was all over the school yard. 15 minutes of kid fame.

She has been circling my head, too. :) And I've been thinking of how amazing it is that so many of us became friends through her blog. Happy (late!) Easter! i hope you ate lots of chocolate eggs. I concentrated on the Sweet Tart chicks and bunnies. Mmmmm...xox

Never to be forgotten. I'm convinced she will personally greet every soul I love sooner or later . How nobly she put up with those bats and birds. Now you have given her butterflies.

Much appreciated.

The pink creatures in the first look strange, but not scary! I think they are the best play-friends.
And I totally love the second one - makes me feel like spring is really near.

I want the swimsuit in the first one, and you've outdone yourself with the daisy girl. I miss Renee.

Well, I've never seen one for real, but I think I like your Axoloti's better than any I would see. These are pink. And happy. And friendly.
:)
Love your heavenly drawing of Renee!

Now I must rush off to share the swimming with my daughter. She is a swimmer and a dreamer, and I know this will give her adventures to dream about.

Truly charming. :)

The top illustration makes me think of myself as a child swimming. The bottom one makes me think of my mother who loves butterflies and survived breast cancer last year. She is always thinking of others before herself! All those daisies are the people she prays for! Thanks for the smiles!

Axolotl
You're so little
You can fit in a bottle.
I can mail you to Seattle
In a box filled with wattle
Isn't that idea capital?
